What about always having the option to download web content by torrent too?

It could relieve the server and increase speed at the same time.

Thanks for any comment about it.

There are pros and cons for torrents. Pro is multiple copies, in multiple PCs, with no interruption problems while the file is checked by hash and there are never file problems (exact copies). A major con is that, for most first world countries, most illegal content downloads via torrent are easily detectable, even with "safe" torrent clients, by revealing IPs and then proceeding with hefty fines. Also uptime is a problem, because at least one peer with 100% content (and a good internet service) must be around to help 24/7/365. While some free content have used torrent as a variant to relieve traffic from their servers with example to Linux, that creates a torrent to share files as an alternative. Also the phenomenon known as "hit-n-run" hurts torrents at a mass of 98-99% where only 1-2% of downloaders do not pursue to share (delete, stop etc.). I myself try my best to seed my stuff, although main problem is hard disk space and in some cases uptime.

Also the phenomenon known as "hit-n-run"

Well, it always happens when you simply download from a server by https. That gives no help at all to relieve the site.

Even a 1% of sharing users is more than 0% from downloading users.

About IP: downloading too shows IPs, even more than bittorrent protocol, that can use encryption and other means.

Most of torrents, which have not been well kept by their maker, have died.

Downloading directly from TOR Network (or similar solutions) is safer than the safest Torrent Client which uses TOR Network. That might sound weird, but people using VPN + torrent have been fined and those who use only TOR have not. Of course, this is a first world problem. For second and third world countries, no one cares at the end of the day.

I don't think that a seedbox could cost more than the lavteam server.

Any file since the beginning is available and storage is not free. Unless it's home hosted, thing that I doubt of.

Most people who share stuff do it for free and keep it free. A seedbox is a solution, but 50-70% of the world population have economical difficulty to keep up with those payments (unless they are repaid back by ads and at best scenario they are not at loss). This is my case 10 years ago when I was a crazy ass torrenthead. I did not have great internet then, did not have storage. Seedbox was needed, I didn't wanna loose money because never I was gaining so tried my best seeding from home. Now, 10 years later, I have a symmetric 1/1 Gbps connection, with the same price I paid then plus cheaper storage. It costs me less to buy a bigger HDD (4-8 TB) than buy a seedbox. Sharing P2P has become easy just as much as it has become difficult these years. Easy because internet is much faster, everywhere, with everyone having faster memory and better machines not to cause any further bottleneck. Difficult because the torrent culture was murdered, first by the slow dismantling of ThePirateBay, then the blitzkrieg done to Artem Vaulin and overnight dismantling of KickAssTorrents. Furthermore DMCA has crushed every other sites and still does. Also the RU/UA W (SMO) has had an impact - with the farewell of RARBG with its founders being on the different side of the same gray zone fields. But other RU torrent sites have bloomed, because now DMCA has no effect and RU president legalized piracy of any kind towards the west.

All in all, first thing nowadays torrenting is a culture. Secondly it is a private group sharing method. This is my opinion.
